Game 1 - Padres 1 Cardinals 5
Well that didn't go so well. Peavy had another rough outing in a game 1 appearance in the post season. The good news is the Padres have a deep pitching rotation while the remainder of the St Louis staff has been skeptical. Welcome to the post season. Keep the Faith!

I stoped watching game 1 after the Padres left the bases loaded.
The first or second time they left them loaded?? At least it seemed they had a few runners on several innings. They were seriously 2 clutch hits away from scoring 4 runs. Too many strikeouts. Nothing good ever happens on a strikeout.
Not sure, might have been the bottom of the eigth, or the inning after Roberts had his stand up triple.
