Padres Sweep
How sweet the sweep is! After just avoiding the dreaded sweep Sunday in San Franciso in dramatic comeback fashion the Padres have moved south down the coast to play the Dodgers in a 3 game set. By complete domination in the 3rd game today the Padres complete their own sweep and hand LA their 8th straight loss. Dodgers have only 1 win since the All Star break and are sinking fast in the NL West. You hear that? Thats the giant sucking sound coming just north of San Diego.
Now on to Colorado to play the Rockies! Let's see if these hot bats can stay hot in thin air! (Adrian with a 17 game hitting streak!!)

This is crunch time for the struggling Rockies. They can either be only 3.5 games back, or as much as 9.5 games back after this series.
Rockies have been through a bit of a losing streak lately, not sure what is wrong. The Rockies have lost 10 of 13 since the break.
Good thing the Saturday night game I am going to will be a good matchup.
